With my good friend Stephan Schmid I developed a new concept for bringing art to the people; Art Injection. We developed a concept of selling casual artists’ works for a lower price to a target audience with lower income or desire to spend money on artwork. The philosophy was that the proverbial man on the street would not sell his or her artwork (even when very talented) and that the cost of new art pieces are too high for those with lower incomes (students for example) to buy. Through a website we wanted to bring art to the streets, bringing a platform where amateur artists and casual art lover could find each other.
